On a recent trip to the east side of the Bob Marshall Wilderness, I rediscovered the very thing that inspires me to work at Kettle Care in the first place: the beauty and sheer power of nature.

A group of friends and I set off on a four-day hike, packing our supplies onto four trusty mules. Our destination? The awe-inspiring Chinese Wall, a natural marvel that promised breathtaking views.

But as fate would have it, just two miles into our hike, one of the mules collapsed. We rushed into action and managed to get the mule to a nearby creek, where it miraculously recovered. We decided to hike to Our Lake, just a 3.5-mile trek with some of the most stunning alpine views imaginable. Entranced by its beauty, we couldn’t resist climbing further up the ridge to peek into the Bob Marshall Wilderness. And our reward was a view of the Northern Chinese Wall that left us all amazed.
